About The Writing
It all begins with an idea. I had this idea which started as a comic book, then evolved into a script for a TV show or movie- yet the characters needed more attention, so I turned it all into a book. I kept the motifs for each character and tried to give them all a little background story (but not too much), then placed their personalities into situations where they could shine. It is always about choices, and whether one person would choose good over evil, happiness over anger, or to run away or stay and fight. Also, what about those kids who felt misaligned, or left out from the popular kids? They have talents too, and what if they were to be able to use those talents to save the world? I touch a bit on these ideas and also bring in the importance of friendship and family bond. I grew up in El Paso, Texas; therefore, I use a lot of that city in this story. Enjoy!
